We’re beginning a new message series on the Image of God.
What does it mean that humankind is made in God’s image?
Does it change our perception of ourselves and others?
Anxiety: a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome.
We’ve all felt it. For some of us it’s chronic. What if I told you that anxiety was also something that King David felt?
How did he deal with it, and how can we learn to spiritually deal with our anxiety?
This marks the sixth and final message of our Orthodoxy Series. We’ll talk about the end of God’s plan for redeeming creation, and it begins with Jesus’ fulfilled promise to his disciples to one day return! What will it look like, and what can we take away in great expectation for that day? Tune in!
Why does the church exist? Is it the building, or the people? What is the mission of the church? Is it a manmade institution or a God-ordained community? If you are curious about these answers, don’t miss this week’s message.
If you’ve ever wondered about the book that Christians give so much authority to, where its inspiration comes from, and what it means for our lives in faith, then don’t miss out on this message.
How self-aware are we, and does that even matter? Psalm 139:23-24 shows us that self-awareness is not a given, as King David earnestly prays that God would “search” and “examine” the depths of his heart. In this message, we will discuss the possibility that self-awareness is a crucial and necessary step on the path to experiencing wellness in God.
Featuring guest speaker, Pastor Daniel Hoh, who serves at OKEC Pathfinders’ Ministry in Garden Grove, CA.
We continue our series, “Orthodoxy.”
This week, we will be exploring the topic of how Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross atones for our sins, and reconciles our relationships with God.
